Preschool
Director
Ms Suzanne

Hello ! My name is Miss
Suzanne and I am beginning my
7th year as director at
CrossRoads! I am excited about
how God has blessed our school
at Hebron Baptist Church. I
enjoy getting to know each
student and their families
during the school year. I am
working with the staff to plan
many enriching activities for
your preschooler.
I have been married to by
husband, Tim, for over 20 years.
We have two teenage boys: Carter
and Kyle and a daughter Nicole.
I have lived in Hebron my entire
life and have attended Hebron
Baptist that long as well. It is
exciting to direct a preschool
at the same church which I
graduated from kindergarten.
I hold a Master’s degree in
elementary education from NKU. I
have had experiences teaching in
elementary schools, watching
children privately in my home,
coordinating the MOPS group at
Hebron Baptist Church, taught
children’s choir, children’s
church, and chaired the
children’s committee at HBC. All
of these roles have played a
part in preparing me for the
director position at CrossRoads.
I look forward to meeting you !!
3
Year Old Class
Ms Kim

Hi! My name is Ms Kim. I am
excited to be starting my third
year with CrossRoads as the 3’s
teacher! I have worked with
children of all ages for many
years. But I have a special
fondness for three-year-olds
because for many, it is their
first introduction to formal
education. I love watching them
bloom from uncertainty on that
first day to eager curiosity as
the year unfolds. My goal for
your child is to fall in love
with learning.
I have three wonderful children:
Ryan, 27, who works for CBS
sports. Katie, 22, a newlywed
and Pastry Chef, and Rosie, 17,
a senior in high school who
loves reading, piano, and drama
club.
I began teaching other children
in Sunday School forever ago!
Some of my experience includes
five years employment at a
private Christian preschool
where I started as a teacher and
became the Spiritual Director
there. I have a corporate
background in Sales but my heart
much prefers working with
children and I am delighted that
God opened this door at
CrossRoads for me.
I am so looking forward to
meeting you and your children!
Ms Rhonda
Hi
everyone! My name is Ms Rhonda
and I will be Miss Kim’s
assistant in the morning 3 yr

(25), Jacob (23), Joseph (18),
and three grandchildren—Abbi
(2), James (1) and Sam (7
months). As you can see family
fills my life!
I attended Montreat College
and NKU. I was the coordinator
of a Mother’s Morning Out
program in North Carolina. I

Christian school for five years.
I have also worked in the
daycare setting.
My family and I are members of

Ms Julia
Hi
everyone!! My name is Ms Julia
and I will be the teacher in the
three day a week four year old
class. I'm very excited to meet
all of the boys and girls that
will be in our class this year.
We are going to have a fantastic
year of learning and growing and
getting to know one another!
I have been blessed with the
opportunity to work with
children in all aspects from
being the director of a
childcare facility, to being the
children's minister for ten
years at a Southern Baptist
Church, to teaching preschool. I
love children and I am thankful
that the Lord has placed the
ministry of children on my
heart.
I have been married to my
husband, Ryan, for 18 years and
together we have four amazing
children....three boys and one
girl!
I can't tell you how anxious I
am to get this year started!
I've been praying for you and
your children all summer. I know
the Lord has placed us together
for a purpose and I'm thrilled
to see how his plan unfolds.
It's going to be an amazing
year!!
Ms Jenny
Hello!
My name is Ms. Jenny. I will be
working with Ms. Julia in the 4
year old class. I am thrilled
that the Lord is giving me the
opportunity to work a fifth year
at CrossRoads with you and your
child.
I have been married for over 22
years to my wonderful husband,
Scott. We have three children;
Alisha (22), Brent (19) and
Bradley (17). We reside in
Hebron and worship here at
Hebron Baptist Church.
I look forward to every day that
I get to work with your precious
child.
Spanish Program
Senora Hilda
HOLA!
My name is Ms. Hilda (Me llamo
Senora Hilda). You may call me
Senora Hilda. I will be your
Spanish Teacher! In the past, I
enjoy substituting for both the
three and four year old
classrooms at CrossRoads
Preschool. I have a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Education from
The Ohio State University
whereby my major was Recreation
Education. My Spanish skills
enabled me to communicate well
during travel for two weeks in
Spain, one week in Costa Rica,
Cartegena in Venezuela, several
Caribbean Islands as well as the
Yucatan Peninsula Region.
My parents came to the United
States from the Netherlands. I
was born and raised in Columbus,
Ohio and I grew up in a
bilingual home learning both
English and Dutch. Exposure to
another language at an early age
broadens a child’s learning
base. A child learns more than
words, he or she learns that
there is a larger world out
there than their own.
I visited family in the
Netherlands many times which led
to additional trips to
Switzerland, Belguim, and Italy
twice (love it!). I used my
degree to enter the Cruise
Travel Industry where I worked
for sixteen years. My original
intent was to work aboard cruise
ships in Children’s Activity
Programs. I turned to land-based
opportunities when I met my
future husband. I worked to
become a Cruise Specialist
selling cruises of all types to
travelers. That led to moving to
Cincinnati and becoming District
Sales Manager for Holland
America Line Westours and
Windstar Cruises for nine years.
My clients were travel agents. I
enjoyed promoting cruise travel
to worldwide destinations. My
favorite components of the
position were conducting sales
seminars and teaching about the
destinations and the products in
multiple cities in the Midwest.
I also loved taking groups of
travel agents on trips to the
Caribbean and Alaska. It was
wonderful to combine my two
passions of Education and
Travel.
My husband’s occupation brought
us to Northern Kentucky. I
became a stay-at-home Mom about
twelve years ago. Reading,
playing and exploring with my
children were treasured times.
Through substitute teaching and
providing childcare, I
rediscovered the joys of Early
Childhood Development. I look
forward to meeting you!
